What an amazing night for the girls football team. The girls won their group, winning all their games and not conceding a goal. Sadly in the final the girls lost 1-0 to a last second goal. Nevertheless, the girls were a credit to the school and themselves.

It was a hard evening for the football team at the cluster event last night with the team finishing in 5th place. Nevertheless, the team showed tremendous effort and skill throughout. They were unlucky in a few games but thankfully they managed to end the competition with a sound victory

It was the start of a new sporting year this week and we must say a big well done to the Cowick Cross country teams. Every single runner made the top 20 of their race with a big cheer for Morgan and Tilly who finished 10th and 9th in their race and first competition for the school.

Well done to the two Cowick teams tonight in the dodge ball competition. The B team finished a credible fifth out of 12 teams. The A team were unlucky to be beaten in the final but second place was a brilliant result. Well done everyone.

Well done to our tennis team who just missed out on the next round, nevertheless they showed super tennis skills throughout the tournament against some pretty strong competition.

Well done to the water class dodge ball team who finished a creditable fourth in the Level 2 competition. This means our team is the fourth best school in the Humberside area. Well done we are so proud of you.

Well done to the Water class Bench ball team for their cluster victory this week. The children were superb on and off the pitch and a true credit to the school. Well done champs!

Well done to the hockey A team who won the cluster competition and remained undefeated on the night. Also well done to the B team who came 7th overall with a couple of spirited victories especially after we had to call up two very late replacements for the team.

Some of our KS1 children took part in an inter school multi skills competition organised by Mr Nicholls from Xcite fitness. They all had a fantastic time and are pictured below receiving their certificates. Well done everyone!

Congratulations to the table tennis team who finished second in the cluster competition. The boys and girls just missed out on victory by the tightest of margins. Nevertheless, the children were superb on the table and off.

Mr Nicholls recently held a curling competition in school. Congratulations to the Yellow Team who were our winners, but well done to everyone for taking part.

Well done to the girls at cluster football competition. The girls came second on the night, conceding only one goal all night. The girls were a true credit to themselves and the school. We are all proud of you.

Well done to the boys football team who finished third in the Snaith Cluster competition. The boys won the first two games but sadly lost their last two and as such missed out on the next round by only a few points. Nevertheless, they didn't give up and but for a small piece of luck, they would have qualified.

Well done to all the children who competed in the cross country event and well done to Thomas who won his event and progressed to the next round.

Well done to the Fire Class tag rugby team. The boys and girls played so well and earned second place in the group followed by a 6-4 victory in the 3rd/4th playoff. The children played wonderfully and many of the staff at the event commented on their team play and skills.
