School Aims
If children are to do their best, they need guidance from both teachers and parents, so we aim to develop and maintain a close partnership between home and school as we share the task of educating your child.
Our aims are:
- To develop each child to the fullest extent of their ability.
- To create a caring ethos within school.
- For the children, parents, staff, governors and community to work together as a team within a happy, secure and stimulating environment.
- To encourage courtesy, consideration of the needs of others and an understanding of the local and worldwide community.
- To serve the community by providing an education of the highest quality within the context of Christian belief and practice.
- To encourage an understanding of the meaning and significance of faith and promote Christian values through the experiences offered to all pupils.
- Through daily acts of worship and the way we conduct ourselves, to promote children’s spiritual development and endeavour to foster an appreciation of Christian values.
- To preserve and develop the school’s religious character in accordance with the principles of the Church of England and in partnership with the Church at Parish and Diocesan level.
